This week I made a keema curry which came out very well both in look and taste.
I want to share this recipe with all of you.
Ingredients:
Oil - 3 tblspoon
Onions - 2 finely chopped
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tblspoon
Minced Lamb/chicken - 1.5 lb
Corriander Powder - 1/2 tblspoon
Masala Powder (cinnamon sticks, cardamom, cloves) - 1/2 tblspoon
Dagar Phool - 1/2 tblspoon ( We can get this in Indian Groceries masala section it is something like dry grass which adds a very nice flavour, I would recommend this in all Non-veg recipes)
salt - 2tblspoon (add if needed more)
Chilli powder - 2 tblspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 tblspoon
Coconut powder - 2 tblspoon (this adds a very good taste to the curry)
Chopped tomatoes - 2
Corriander leaves - 1 spoon
Mint leaves -1 spoon
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan add Dagarphool to it and then fry onions till they get nice golden color, add turmeric and ginger garlic paste.
- Now add minced meat to the mixture and close the pan, if required add very little amount of water generally we dont need much for keema but if you feel it is burning then add some more water.
- After sometime when keema is half cooked, Add chill powder, salt and corrianderpowder and cook this until keema is fully cooked.
-Once keema is done add Masala powder, coconut powder, Mint leaves, corriander leaves and cook for 1 minute and turn off the stove.
Tip: Try to cook Non-Veg in low flame though it is time consuming it will come out very well.
